Formerly known as Villa Licia—a romantic name given in the 1970s—we’ve reclaimed its original title, Villa Santa Lucia Nuova, celebrating its authentic roots and enduring legacy as a hub for art, history, and modern refinement.

The estate itself is a masterpiece—a seamless blend of historic charm and contemporary touches. At its core is the magnificent main villa, supported by four additional buildings, lush gardens, a 17th-century greenhouse, and the historic Church of Santa Lucia, built in 1614 by Florentine canon Petro Nasi. Its artistic spirit is undeniable, having been the home and studio of Dutch artist Karel Appel—one of the CoBrA movement’s leading figures—from 1988 to 2000. His creative energy still lingers throughout the property.
